Property Clearance Labourer
Are you experienced in property clearances, waste handling or general labouring?
DALPEST Pest Solutions is a successful, family-run pest control and environmental services company experiencing rapid growth across our Environmental Services Division. Due to increasing demand, we are looking to expand our Clearance and Environmental Cleaning team.
This is a physical, hands-on labouring role focused on clearing properties and lofts and removing waste and large items. It is not a domestic cleaning position. While some environmental cleaning may be required to leave properties in a suitable condition, the primary responsibility is carrying out property clearances.

The Role
The role involves clearing void and occupied properties, clearing lofts, removing furniture, household items, rubbish, and other waste materials. No two days are the same, and the work can be physically demanding. You will work as part of a supportive two-person team and will not be expected to work alone.
Previous experience in property clearances, removals, waste management, construction labouring, or similar manual work is highly desirable. However, we will also consider motivated trainees who have the right attitude and are willing to learn.
This role is based from our Peterborough office and covers surrounding areas including Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, King’s Lynn and Milton Keynes.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out property clearance work in domestic and commercial properties.
- Remove furniture, white goods, household contents and general waste.
- Load and unload company vehicles safely.
- Assist with stripping out properties where required.
- Carry out environmental cleaning after clearances to leave properties ready for the next stage of works.
- Work safely and follow company Health and Safety procedures at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service while representing DALPEST professionally.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in property clearances, removals, waste collection, construction labouring or a similar manual role is preferred.
- Comfortable undertaking physically demanding work, including heavy lifting at times.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to get stuck in.
- Potential to develop into a team leader position as business continues to grow.
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable to different types of work and locations.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.
- A full UK driving licence is desirable due to travel between sites.

DALPEST Pest Solutions have been operating since 2017 and are a successful, family-run pest control organisation based in Peterborough. We work in commercial and domestic pest control and environmental services. We have an immediate opening for another experienced full-time Pest Control Technician who is Level 2 RSPH qualified.

The Position:
We are seeking a Pest Control Technician who ideally has at least 1 year of previous experience in a residential or commercial pest management role. This role is based at our service centre in Peterborough and will involve working both here and in the surrounding local areas including Huntingdon and Cambridgeshire. We are looking for a dedicated hard-working individual to fill this position and work as a key member of our rapidly expanding team.
We deal with a broad range of pest species and no two days are the same!
Person Specification:
- RSPH Level 2 Pest Management qualified
- At least 1 year of previous pest control experience
- A positive can-do attitude and a fast learner
- Excellent organisation skills and a good sense of prioritisation
- Works well in a team and independently
- A confident communicator with a high level of attention to detail and customer service skills
- Previous experience working with clients is an advantage
- Full driving license is essential due to the nature of the work and travel required to sites
